First, a player who you beat is more likely to be a bad player than a good player, and therefore, more likely to lose more games than they win through out the tournament. 1 test, hit a mountain and rolled all the way down, lost 2 hatch ramps and 1 passenger, still had all important components still managed to stand upright and majority of crew survived.
6 Tests successful with lots of damage but none to important comonents, hatch ramps take most of the damage. It can survive impacts onto a planet or asteroid while travelling at 104.4m/s (Max vanilla speed). It also needed to be as small as possible to be stored and launched from another ship. This craft is designed to be as lightweight resources-wise as possible.

This design was basically thrown together so dont expect perfection but it is great fun to use and play with.Īnd yes it is inspired by Games Workshops Warhammer 40k Space Marines all credit where due, but dont ask me to try and fit a dreadnaught in there. This is a drop pod designed to be launched from a large orbital craft directly to the planet's surface. This will probably be the ONLY craft i design to crash on purpose.
